OK, so for English we have to write poems from the POV of Streetcar characters. So at first I wrote a simple yet snarky-sarcastic thang for Stanley.
But then I actually found true inspiración. Click to read "Flores."
BTW, both include Statements of Intent that so you can kinda know what's going on, and "Flores" has an English translation following the Statement of Intent. Note that it is after the SoI, meaning it should be read last.
In retrospect, I realize that it doesn't have a simile, which Ms. Nash required, but I like it the way it is. So I'm gonna go for sanctity of the poem over stylistic requirements.
