Sometimes I really think I hate you.

I don't like hating people, but you really suck. A lot.

It's obvious that you don't care about us or what we do for your school. But every time, you seem to top your previous personal "best." Each time, you just keep becoming more and more of a ho.

I don't know if you can get any worse now. And I don't want to know what, if any, stage is after "callous disregard." Please don't show me.

I think I've already got "10,385 things I hate about you."

Yeah, we'll carry on. We always seem to. But it's going to be so much harder. So much harder on all of us.

But you're not one of us. You don't have to suffer.

And unfortunately, doing our best for ourselves and for our trade includes being fair to you. Sometimes I wish we didn't have to. Sometimes I wish there was an opt-out clause in the Code of Ethics for people like you.

Oh wait, there is. Last summer at SJI, Dr. Russell told us about the Libel Proof Doctrine. It holds that there are certain people who have destroyed their characters over the years and essentially have no reputation left. So, basically it doesn't matter what the press says about them since libel is a defamatory falsehood.

Example: mobsters, vicious serial killers, and you. That's like what you are to me now. I don't think you have much or any respect in my mind anymore. Nevertheless, I'll try to remain fair towards you– except for when you prevent that, as I know you're prone to do.

Well, anyway, I know it's not graduation yet, but let me start my thank yous a little early:

Thanks for the broken promises.

Thanks for not even paying attention.

Thanks for not even caring.

Thanks for not understanding.

Thanks for talking down to us... all of us.

Thanks for being childish.

Thanks for being vengeful.

Thanks for punishing those who do what they think is right.

Thanks for being a total jerk.

Thanks for being ungrateful.

Thanks for being a pain.

Thanks for being fake.

Thanks for never considering that you may be wrong.

Thanks for not trusting us.

Thanks for everything.
