Ayuh, 'Do you speak American?' was, like, mad tight!
I really enjoyed watching Do You Speak American? a documentary about the English language in the United States that I taped off of Channel 8 last night, and I highly recommend it to anyone who'll have three hours free next week. It airs again this Saturday morning from 3-6 a.m., so set y'all's VCRs!
ASU expects me– er, the Foundation– to pay for this?
A Tempe press release I just received in my inbox informs me that ASU and the city are partnering to provide wireless internet to most of Downtown Tempe. I guess that'll be nice for laptop users to be able to get online outside of Harkins and whatnot, but I would think that ASU-Tempe IT should focus their efforts (and students' money) on providing wireless access to most of the Tempe campus before going off-campus to cover Mill Ave.
'Medium' airs tonight at 9
Although the aforementioned Medium normally airs on Monday nights, a new episode is on tonight at 9 on Channel 12. Here's hoping for more mohawks and wheelchairs!
