What a great day!

Wow, today was really awesome on so many levels!

Classes were cool– although one of them required some text messaging to liven it up. I was able to make some substantial progress on stuff at work thanks to some very cool help from one of my very cool city editors. Relatedly, I had the lead story and the lead photo on the front page of today's paper. Also, we had a Flinn meeting today about our service project proposal in which we both got work done and talked about the Eastern European memories of those who've already been overseas.

Plus, I spent the evening with a group of people amassed by birthday boy Brian Schlemmer. We went up to Camelview to see Hotel Rwanda and spent the rest of the evening at Macayo's talking, eating, and making jokes at Brian's expense.

Brian Schlemmer: Upset at his inability to make a face we consider sufficiently mean, he says something about how one day he'll prove his meanness potential by just going off on a killing spree.

Brian Indrelunas: "Could you call me when you're about to do that? That would save me a lot of time."

"Prepare to be triangulated!"
